I had an interview and it was a great conversation but the guy did not record it correctly. He just had his web cam on and had they catching some of the sound from his speakers. My tech guy and I are trying to clean up the audio. Text is below of the very beginning of the call which was un-fixable and it picks up from there.
Interviewer: I remember the first week, Colonel McGregor, who I like, I like very much because he's not a hawk. He's he's a guy who understands the horrors of war. He wants to get along with everyone. He's not fucking pounding the war drums. So I like what him and Scott Ritter have to say, I follow those guys, because I like their anti war message. But during the first week, he said, This thing was going to be stupid words. Yeah. Yeah. He said, this, this thing was gonna be over in eight days.
Ryan Right.
Interviewer And, and we and he went into this thing now, okay. Putin didn't didn't want a big foot and have mass casualties. And there was there was some miscalculations made on the Russian side, that they would be viewed as liberators, and the Russia and the Ukrainian army was going to roll over. And they were going to surround Kyiv and this and take down this Zelensky regime, or they were hoping they'd have a settlement. Right. So let's talk about the the like the Genesis and how this thing went from eight days to where a year and going strong.
