The Conspiracy John Wilks Booth
(praise be his name)
Me replying to someone saying Booths sister said their dad was a Jew and spoke Hebrew.
Asia Booth was pro union and damn near retarded. Her father spoke French. (Did plays in English and French) He and his son Edwin played Shylock in Merchant of Venice. Julius did method acting and was a raging alcoholic later in his life. I can picture him at a synagogue. He once was locked in his dressing room to prevent him from getting drunk. So he bribed a stagehand to bring a bottle of of whiskey near the door hiding the bottle behind his back from the guard and Julius Booth sipped it with a straw through the key hole. He died when John Wilks Booth (praise be his name) was only 14. JWB was part of the Know Nothings Party that was hardcore Protestant and anti-Catholic. The plot was to kill Lincoln, Johnson and Seward and decapitate the Union. They shot Lincoln, and stabbed Seward unfortunately he survived. Andrew Johnson was unharmed.
Julius Booth
JWB said in 1864 after Lincoln's rigged election that Abe had declared himself a king. He aimed to kidnap him and later upgraded that to killing him.
His sister Asia named after where their father thought the location of the Garden of Eden was, and his brother Edwin who saved the life of Lincoln's son, were both pro Union. Edwin forbid John from his property on account of arguing about it. The 7 other children were all Protestant Christians as was JWB. Had he been Catholic he would probably be a saint after slaying the Devil's son.
Lincoln actually survived the shot through the head. (Wasn't a silver bullet). It was the next day that he died while people were praying over his body. It's probably the prayer that killed him. Some say he twitched at mention of the word Jesus. Lincoln let out a large breathe of air as he died and returned to Hell.
He left the US still at war but now with an income tax, conscription, and no free press. The Peterson House where he died still stinks of sulfur.
Ford's theater never topped the dramatic performance of JWB praise be his name. Why couldn't he have another bullet left for Grant? Well although cratoon commonly have Grant and his why seated next to Lincoln and the creature he married, this is misleading. Ms. Lincoln hated Ms. Grant and they would not sit next to one another and indeed they were not. Lincoln and his wife were in the balcony seats with Henry Reed Rathbone and his fiancee Clara Harris. Rathbone would later shoot and stab Clara, then his wife, to death. Rathbone himself was stabbed by Booth when he tried to apprehend him.
He also stabbed himself 5 times and attacked his children. He thought his wife was being unfaithful. A lot of military men probably had undiagnosed PTSD. We don’t know, no one asked what she said. By weird coincidence Rathbone’s step father Ira, who also had the last name Harris, was appointed US senator for New York after William Seward was appointed to be Lincoln’s Secretary of State.
William Seward was attacked and stabbed the same night as Lincoln. Confederate Secret Service assigned Lew Powell to assassinate Seward. Powell was considered handsome by 1860 standards.
To his credit, Seward had warned Lincoln not to resupply Fort Sumter because it could provoke a war. By chance he had had an accident falling off a horse and his neck was in a brace. When the young Powell yanked the sheets off of Seward in his bedroom, the brace prevented him from cutting his throat so he panicked and stabbed him in the face instead. Powell fought an injured two of Seward’s sons (Fredrick and Augustus) and stabbed a personal guard (Private George Robinson). Upon fleeing he also stabbed a messenger, Emerick Hansel.
The real conspiracy that few know about was that John Wilks Booth’s brother Edwin Booth was nearly assassinated in a theater in Chicago. Edwin Booth the bad, had tragically saved Lincoln’s son from falling into railroad tracks. I can think of no better poetic justice than for Lincoln’s son to have been killed by a train on the railroads. One Mark Gray (real name mark Lyons) fired two shots at Booth the lesser.
It had nothing to do with revenge for Satan’s death. but he refused to give his motive upon being captured. Well that fueled the 1879 rumor mill and gave him some notoriety. The trial for Mark began on May 10th which was John Wilk’s Booth’s birthday. (praise be his name).
Gray fancied himself an actor and thought he would play a better Hamlet than Booth. He has also been told that Booth might be his father. He wasn’t, his real father died 4 months before he was born. Mark gray Lyons ended up in an insane asylum for three years. He hated the way Edwin Booth had pronounced the word “Mark” in the play Richelieu. He though Booth was mocking him.
Richelieu means The Conspiracy. That is the play from which we get the famous phrase “The pen is mightier than the sword.” Indeed every person who was stabbed in the Booth dramas: Seward, Rathbone (twice), Robinson and Emerick, all survived. Clara died but she had also been shot.
Mark gray was as Catholic by the way. He was buried in a Catholic cemetery. I would feel no reason to point this out other than the modern internet is retarded and thinks the Vatican had Lincoln killed or that Lincoln stood up to central banking because of his Greenbacks. Nothing could be further form the truth. There was no central bank or federal reserve in 1860, that wouldn’t exist until 1913. Lincoln’s greenback was a complete failure $1 was at times worth only 38 cents and even in the best times floated in the 70 cents range Lincoln paid for the war by selling War bonds mainly to Europeans.
These were repaid after the war by Grant by confiscating Southern gold and cotton. Grant's policies included selling gold to buy up wartime bonds and redeem greenbacks. This was done to reduce the amount of greenbacks redeemable in gold and establish a more stable monetary system. Two railroad entrepreneurs Jay Gould and James Fisk were trying to corner the gold market and discouraged Grant from selling. But he did it anyway, however Fisk and Gould lawyer-ed their way out of it and did not face substantial losses.
Private Robinson who had saved Seward’s life had been wounded the year before fighting in Virginia at the Battle of of Ware Bottom Church a confederate victory. He recounted that as Powell (Payne) left the house he got word that prsident Lincoln had been shot. His first thoughts were where are Johnson and the rest of the cabinet.
Johnson’s assassin, George Atzerodt, lost his nerve and got drunk that night on April 14th. They tried him anyway and sentenced him to death.
So Happy Birthday John Wilks Booth and my first son!
