There are so many reasons, the educarion system, the role of entertainment, the horse and carrot daily life many live, the breakdown of generational bonds, wisdom and wealth, the culture wars, the social wars, the fact that people are uneducated and unmoored from structure, discipline and focus. Almost everything is a trap, there is a thin path through it all, and most have had their agency beat out of them over years and generations.

Morality
We have a lack of morality problem.
It's at the heart of everything.
Is it lying- It's wrong
Is it stealing- It's wrong
Is it murder -it's wrong
But in this country the ends definitely justify the means. The country has been falling apart for decades. Their is no empathy.
And even sicker then that is
We paint over with these issues with a coat of " God needs us."
