After over 50 houses have fallen into the ocean and far more condemned and are now unlivable, finally the government got rid of CAMA the pseudo environmental kooks who prevented Jetty repair. Your calls mattered. There were a tital wave of calls after I posted the numbers on substack and rumble. Nothing by the way from nerfed twitter.

Work has started on the Jetty. They are there now doing staging. The governor (Josh Stein) is walking where the beach used to be with my younger brother on Monday and he will officially declare a state of emergency then. Even Bobby Outten changed his tune.

We did it! We got it done too late. It took a massive disaster and tens of millions in damages for the government to listen but we did it. Honestly without social media we would have quietly sunk into the sea.

More is needed. Rodanthe for example still has nothing. But Buxton is being rescued. There is a great danger though if a storm hits before repairs are complete the whole town could be wiped out. There is no beach and I mean no beach left. The new shore is where parking lots and houses used to be.
