The left does it a lot. So does the right.
They take a political issue and hide behind some unassailable but disingenuous front.

For example:
You cant talk about Israel critically
Without being labeled anti-Semitic

Cant talk about black violence, in a serious way and it is real thing, or you’re racist.

Can’t talking about gays and their propensity for pedophilia your homophobic.

Can’t talk about physical limits of women, even is vital roles like the Secret Service or you’re sexist.

If you don’t support the jab you hate grandma.

Support war in Iran/Afghanistan or you hate women's rights.

Support war in Iraq or you hate the troops.

Prevent drilling for oil or you hate the environment.

If you’re not pro DEI you hate minorities.

Cant question/reject religion or your a bad person/follow the devil.

If you don’t Support illegal immigration or you hate Mexicans.

In the UK, support illegal immigration or you’re an Islamophobia.

They accuse you of prejudice while enacting a prejudice themselves.

The trick is creating a social stigma around a political issue. And it’s very effective. Karen culture does this out of a sense of the need to control stemming from a personal sense of lack of control. Mass media does this for social engineering.

But once you have a name for something it loses much of its power. So use this term the next time you see it. Moral Camouflage.

They aren’t creating antisemitism laws to defend Jews. They’re creating laws to protect Israel from criticism.

We didn’t create wars in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan for women's lib or spreading democracy. We went there for Israel.
