Sober analysis of the unrest in Minneapolis by a counterinsurgency expert:

x.com/Schwalm5132/status/2015470661490057540

As a former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations running counterinsurgency ops—both hunting insurgents and trying to separate them from sympathetic populations—I’ve seen organized resistance up close. From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly.

What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t “protest.” It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook.

Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles. Daily chat rotations and timed deletions to frustrate forensic recovery. Vetting processes for new joiners. Mutual aid from sympathetic locals (teachers providing cover, possible PD tip-offs on license plate lookups). Home-base coordination points. Rapid escalation from observation to physical obstruction—or worse.

This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a SF team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace “ICE agents” with “occupying coalition forces” and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.

The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in. When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers—complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal—you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity.

I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.

Not because I want escalation. But because history shows these things don’t de-escalate on their own once the infrastructure exists and the cadre believe they’re winning the information war.

We either recognize what we’re actually looking at—or we pretend it’s still just “activism” until the structures harden and spread.

Your call, America. But from where I sit, this isn’t January 2026 politics anymore.

It’s phase one of something we’ve spent decades trying to keep off our own soil.

Yes yes, but but we have nothing to hide Ryan and the government must protect us from all these imminent and devastating dangers. They are really not going to misuse their powers. They have only our interests at heart. I think you are misguided and you are doing injustice to all these hardworking government officials and politicians. You know, they give their working life for society. Such sacrifice must be applauded.

I am a new subscriber to Dawson. Been listening for a long time and enjoy his well put together thoughts that mirror my own.

I have not been on social media in many years, but I have learned to recognize the meaning and motive of the headlines. They are never selling news. They sell you what you should be angry about, thus setting in motion the "solutions" they have already crafted.

The more I have learned, the more I find it difficult to find a "side" to support.

Most Americans forget how these same federal entities were told to "observe and report" by former administrations, causing what we are witnessing now, and tragically predicting what we know it will become within in the constructs of a Political Hegelian dialectic. Wag the Dog turning into real combat.

Palatair, and the massive domestic spying networks combined with undulating political support through heated "elections," presenting as one side against the other, the division is well underway, at least for the simpletons. Laws of Attraction are bringing them together. The algorithms bring them together. Like smashing atoms.

I never thought this was about the immigrants, knowing how over-reach of powers that have been tolerated past, are then transferred to the next, and so-on. I firmly believe COVID was a test run for the compliance, unto which a majority failed in the preservation of our own autonomy, behest of the same government, hiding behind religious exemption, rather than facing it head-on.

At a time that we need representation the most, we are seeing people resign in the face of the adversity, for that vacuum to be filled with even more extremism. This is to be expected of much of any opposing forces when the stakes are raised. They don't walk the walk.

This administration, within 1 year, has effectively caused "leftists" to support 2A, and 1A where prior many of the same, traditionally, would jeer at a gun-owner. Up is Down. Even the NRA denounces the violence that makes their high doner manufacturers wealthy from normal Americans replenishing their ammo, in preparation for what they fear the most.

Predicting the future, is examining the past.

We will have checkpoints at every intersection, just like an Occupied Palestine, or the Ghettos of Poland, and for much the same reason, if this is allowed to continue. Their advisors have 80 years of experience to share in how to villainize the free-thinking moderate man, as nothing but absolute compliance is accepted. This is done through labeling any opposition as a "domestic terrorist" to justify the means of abuse, and now murders.

Your new travel ID will be chipped with a "antigovernment" or "extremist" profile over something you said in 2008. The soldier will be young, dumb, and incredibly loyal against the "terrorists." In his mind, he is doing his duty....

In fact, these days, I can hardly tell the difference between ICE and ISIS.

...and Ai will have you questioning EVERYTHING you hear and see.

What is resistance, and what is antagonism? What is justice and what is moral delusion?

It is all a matter of perspective.

Pay attention to what you feed your mind.

Sometimes I think ICE has overstepped its bounds, then I read yet another news flash where innocents have died at the hands of illegals. We ordinary working stiffs who've been legal citizens all our lives are faced with millions of illegals already here, other US citizens violently opposed to removing said illegals, all backed by a coast-to-coast network of judges, NGO's and bureaucrats protecting said illegals. And funded by our tax $$$ that we're under threat of IRS retribution if we don't pay. In short, a hopeless situation. https://whky.com/bandys-hs-graduate-catawba-college-athlete-killed-in-crash/

I get that one should listen to all sides….but Andrew Tate? A down market Jordan Peterson.
