Hezbollah is back
They will enter the Iran War
Coming from a source on the ground.
On the security front, they have revamped all their procedures and security infrastructure. The November assassination in Beirut was due to the negligence of the targeted commander.
On the armament front, their stockpiles are rebuilt and they have reoriented entirely towards a self-sufficient approach manufacturing their arms using imported commodities and supplies. Iran had long sent the necessary expertise. Their focus has been on drones due to their devastating effect in the 12 day war. Additionally, they’ve managed to buy a lot of the former SAA’s stockpiles from Syrian militias which continue to enable weapons transports for money.
On the military front, it is clear they will not sit neutral in an unrestricted war with Iran. They will throw everything they got without any care for red lines. They have a very sizable presence south of the Litani river despite what the media will let on. They will likely pursue an aggressive strategy by engaging the IDF in infantry combat on the southern front with limited ground incursions into Israel itself after targeting the observation posts and communication hubs in northern Israel. The goal is to draw a fanatic Zionist response like after October 7 so that the Israelis commit to dedicating a sizable portion of their air force and ground army to Lebanon.
The assessment remains that any serious ground offensive against Hezbollah will primarily be undertaken through the Syrian frontier. What will happen to Beirut and Lebanon at large will be unfortunate but this is shaping up to be the all-out war we have long anticipated and dreaded.
As for Iraqi militias:
They are Iran’s wild card. No one knows for sure the extent of their capabilities, but it can be implied based on proximity and manpower. They’ve been building up their missile and drone arsenal for a while. Iraq is a major wrench in American war plans. Geography makes it so they can easily hit both gulf and Israel. They should be primarily used to hit energy and infrastructure in the gulf in the start.

I don't have the words to describe the disappointment of this nation.
