Do you mean to say this is AI? I thought it was a powerful presentation and I would like to forward it to others, but I won't do so unless I can cite the original source. Where did this video come from?
Sure. You bet it is all accurate. It is all very well said. For that reason I'd like to share it with others, but I need to be able to defend myself by citing the source. If I don't know the origins of the video I'm not going to forward it, no matter how much I like it.
Ryan, I found the following which supports everything you have said about Yaweh. I thought I would share it with you even though you probably know this well. I didn't know this until you said it and then I went to look it up. Here it is: Human sacrifices for Yahweh
In Tanaj it is forbidden that the Jewish-Israelites hordes sacrifice human to the gods of Canaan, but it is not prohibited to sacrifice the Jewish-yahveh god, moreover, Yahveh orders that thousands of people be killed in his honor, in a few words ... The Jewish god orders that they sacrifice him human!
We will only see some examples, since the Tanach is full of those rotten stories, the same ones that the religious say they are holy and perfect.
Important note: If you are going to read the passages I recommend the Jerusalem or Torah Bible with Rashi, since the other versions do not translate correctly.
1- Numbers 25: 1-9
The Israelitic hordes had sex with the women of Moab and gave sacrifices to their gods, then the Jewish god ignited in anger and ordered to emphasize in honor of Yahweh to all the bosses of the people, with a total of 24,000 sacrificed to Yahweh ... that is, the Jewish god ordered to be sacrificed humans.
Yes, just as they read it, Yahweh ordered a massive sacrifice for impall, that is, the order was to put sticks by the anus until thousands of people go out in the mouth, to make her suffer slowly until she died ... in honor of Yahweh.
Note: The Torah with Rashi says that they were hung/hanged, whatever it is, impaled or hanged does not remove the aberrant of the passage.
2- Deuteronomy 2: 26-34
Yahve orders to steal the lands and belongings of the Jesbon people, once defeated the inhabitants were consecrated/sacrificed to Yahweh. Thousands of men, women and children were sacrificed, without leaving anyone alive.
3- Josue 6: 17-21
Yahveh orders that they sacrifice all the inhabitants of the city of Jericho, then the Jewish-Israelite hordes proceed to execute all the inhabitants of Jericho (worth the redundancy) in an orgy of blood and death, they did not leave any inhabitant alive, everything to satisfy the grim of Yahweh.
Note: Only Rahab and his family survived.
Yes, the Jewish-yahveh god prohibits other deities from sacrificing human, but he orders that thousands and thousands of people in the most horrendous and sadistic ways be sacrificed.
4- Josue 10-28-37
The Israelitous hordes sacrificed all the inhabitants of Maqueda, Libna, Liquis, Eglón and Hebron, without leaving anyone alive, they consecrated them to Yahweh as they had ordered them.
5- There are many more examples, but with those are enough.
Now that is a very interesting comment, Lorna. To be transparent, I'll say up-front that I am a Christian who understands that the Bible is very important. But what you say is so interesting because I find that most Christians are completely ignorant about the history of their own religion. The Christian Church does not spring from the Bible. It is the other way around. The Christian Church existed for nearly four-hundred years before the canon of the New Testament was even decided upon. And who decided upon that canon? That same Christian Church. Furthermore, what you say about people abusing the Bible is absolutely true. They do use it for their own purposes. Private interpretation of Scripture is dangerous and was never intended. It is a phenomenon that only dates back 500 years, to around the time of the invention of the printing press. The Church that produced and promulgated the Bible is the authority on its interpretation, not the guy in the do-it-yourself "church" at the strip mall or the entertainment-based mega-"church" down the street. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not leave us a book. He left us a Church. It was that Church that gave us the Bible.

I agree a source would be nice but I do believe it is all true.

What is the Tanaj, the Tanach, and Yahveh.
I am a Christian who does not put stock in the Bible.
People interpret it their way and then use it for their cause.
