Dems walk out of tense briefing with Bondi over Epstein files
A group of House Democrats stormed out of a closed-door briefing with Attorney General Pam Bondi on the Jeffrey Epstein investigation late Wednesday, as frustration with the Justice Department’s handling of the case continues to boil over.
The walkout came one day after House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) subpoenaed Bondi to testify about the Epstein probe next month.Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with the committee on Capitol Hill Wednesday afternoon. Less than an hour later, the Democrats left the room.
Ranking Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) told reporters that Bondi refused to commit to complying with the subpoena. He dismissed the session as a “fake hearing,” pointing out that she was not under oath and gave no opening statement.
Bondi faces accusations that the Justice Department has concealed the names of powerful associates of Epstein in its release of millions of documents related to the late financier. She is set to give a sworn deposition on April 14th
I doubt she will be able to say hey look at the DOW this time.
I know the Iran War and the oil Blockade on Cuba are grabbing attention as they should. but we can never let the pressure up on the Epstein files.
